Antique Dining

The Rose Room: Webster, MA

Rating: ★★★★☆

Price Range: $

This cafe use to be an antique store in Webster, Massachusetts. This fairly new cafe still portrayed the antique vibes that the store before it had. The restaurant was very open and bright. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. This shop, run by a husband, wife, and a old teacher at my school were very kind and give us a heart warming introduction to the new cafe. After spending many minutes contemplating what I should order on their short but very intriguing menu I ended up getting the “Yo-Gertie” ($4) (ingredients: yogurt, granola, coconut shavings, apples, and almonds) and “The Cold Brew” coffee ($4). When the server brought it out to me I was very pleased with the display of everything. It tasted very good but I wish that the yogurt had a little bit more flavor. Something that I loved about the cafe was that I knew where the food was coming from and that everything was local. The owners came around sitting down with costumers and got to know them. They really cared about the customers rather than just their company. The scenery was very neat because of their tables, silverware, plates, and bowls. They were all unique which I enjoyed.
